VentureScout does this through direct sourcing of startups as investments opportunities for Venture arms, by building internal accelerators or by sourcing innovation for industry clusters.
Through Startupbootcamp we realized that many corporates wish to engage more with startups. Corporates have tons of assets that startups could help leverage. The format is underpinned by ongoing free skin consultations, using latest state-of-the-art imaging technology, which enables clients to track the improvement in their skin condition over time. The concept can be offered through various retail formats including cosmetics floors in departments stores, high street clinic, in-line units in shopping centres and mall retail units. With a convenient retail focused format, Trueskin is well positioned to take advantage of the growth in non-invasive cosmetic treatments and cosmeceutical products within the overall Health & Beauty sector. With two clinics open by February 2011, the company is in the process of rolling out the format across the UK in the coming months and years.
Trueskin was co-founded with Dominic Perks, Louise Taylor and Huw Anthony.

Greenwire is an electronic recycling business trading from commercial premises in Copenhagen, London and Hong Kong. The company specialise in the recovery, refurbishment and recycling of consumer electronic devices. The company operates in 8 European countries and  and have millions of  registered customers. International partners include Vodafone, Tesco, TDC, TeliaSonera, WWF, HMV and MediaMarkt.

Greenwire was co-founded by Rainmaking and FiveVC.

CityLasik is a chain of seven eye clinics in Germany that were opened in the second half of 2007 and the first half of 2008.The chain has a total of 150-200 customers per month and this figure is steadily increasing. Our customers reclaim full vision without glasses or contact lenses after undergoing an easy and painless laser surgery.

In August 2008, 67% of CityLasik was sold to Memira, which is owned by the Swedish investment firm, Investor AB. The remaining 33% was sold during 2009 and 2010 based on an earn-out model.

Godt Smil is Denmark’s largest chain of dental clinics specialised in implants and other advanced dental treatments. Prices are up to 40% lower than what is achievable for same quality in other Danish clinics. The company has 5 clinics and employs 25 dentists and more than 30 support staff. Godt Smil was co-founded by Rainmaking and Anders Bjergegaard in 2007 as a response to what we felt were too high prices for dental treatments compared to similar quality and treatments in Germany and Sweden. It was found that Denmark was lacking competition and we therefore set an ambition to create a chain with high volume of treatments and specialised in advanced treatments allowing us to offer significant lower prices. The concept has from day one received a very positive response from customers and media and the chain continues to grow fast and remains profitable. Anders Bjergegaard conducted a management buyout in 2008 and has since grown the company together with new investors.

BalconyTV is devoted to the idea of music being performed on balconies. It sounds like a simple, if oddly specific, concept, but its one that has become a franchise that sees volunteers in cities around the world filming performances and sharing them with the world via a central website, clocking up over 20 million views of over 5000 videos in the process.
